Animal Control officers are asking Coventry residents if they have or know of anyone that has lost a male Beagle within the past several weeks.
The playful pup was dropped off at the Coventry pound on March 17 after having been found on Victory Hwy. (Rt. 102) by a passerby. (It is not clear where on Victory Hwy. he was spotted.)
Animal Control Officer Matthew McCormick said that the dog has not been neutered and is estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old. In addition, he seems to have been recently sprayed by a skunk while outdoors.
Other than arriving a tad stinky, he seems to be happy and sociable pooch who, in typical Beagle style, loves to sniff and vocalize while playing outside.
If anyone has information regarding this animal, please contact Coventry Animal Control at 822-9106.
