It's Friday, and you've got no idea what you'll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We've got the best bets for every age to make your weekend just what you've been waiting for. Check our picks for the activities that are going on in town.

1.Toddlers, Tunes and Tales

Where/When: Greene Public LibraryFridays, 10-10:30 a.m.

Why Go: The Greene Public Library hosts a Friday morning program each week beginning for 1 to 3-year-olds accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The activity features songs, movement and a story. Please call the library at 397-3873 to register.

2.) Greene Library LEGO Club

Where/When: Greene Public Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene); Saturday, 10-11 a.m.

Why Go: Children in grades 1-5 are invited to bring their imagination to the Library's LEGO Club! No registration necessary.

Pricing: Free 

3.) Maple Sugaring

Where/When: George B. Parker Woodland Wildlife Refuge (1670 Maple Valley Rd); Saturday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Why Go: Step back in time at Audubon's Parker Woodland and experience the history of maple sugaring. Learn how maple sugaring started with the Native Americans and how to make this sweet syrup in your own backyard. Participants will taste maple syrup with pancakes, muffins and donuts at breakfast. Tours start every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. Call 949-5454 to pre-register as space is limited. Ages 5 and up welcome. 

Pricing: $18/adult, $9/child 

4.) PawSox Idol Tryouts

Where/When: Warwick Mall; Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Why Go: Do you think you have what it takes to be the next PawSox Idol? Show off your best singing skills tryouts for the third season of PawSox Idol this weekend! The contest will take place pre-game on Sunday home games, each Friday home game contestants will sing for fans votes. The finale of will be Aug. 25, 2013. Click here to download the registration form.

5.) Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner

Where/When: Summit Baptist Church (1176 Victory Hwy.); Saturday, 5 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner just in time for St. Patrick's Day! Call 392-0232 for reservations.

Pricing: $12/adult, $6/child (ages 5-10), children under 5 are guests of the Church.

6.) Women's Slow Pitch Softball Registration

Where/When: Coventry Community Center (1277 Main St.); Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. 

Why Go: Register this weekend for the Spring 2013 season of the Coventry Women's Slow Pitch Softball League. Walk-in registration will be held Saturday and Sunday. Visit www.leaguelineup.com/coventrywomen for more information. Bring valid form of ID with name and current address.

Pricing: $75 annual member fee

7.) Line Dancing

Where/When: Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge (42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich); Sunday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Why Go: Want to try something a little different this weekend? Then try your hand (or feet) at line dancing. All ages and abilities are welcome. For more info call Jerry (397-3700) or Lori (206-3618).

Pricing: $6 per person to benefit Elks and Emblems charities.
