A winter storm moving up the Atlantic coast will dump upwards of 4 inches across Rhode Island this evening and night.
Areas along the coast should see a bit more than interior towns. The National Weather Service is calling for snow to begin late this afternoon, around 4-5 p.m. and continue through the night, ending around 4 a.m. Tuesday. Areas along the coast should see 3-5 inches, with most of the state getting 2 to 4 inches of the white stuff.
With the storm ending in the early morning hours Tuesday, it could make for a slippery morning commute, so take care on the roads.
