On May 16 at about 2:40 p.m. Coventry Police Detectives, assisted by uniformed members of the Coventry Police Department, acting on a tip, arrested two men possessing more than $2,500 worth of heroin which was seized along with $1,200 in cash.
Juan Then, 23 of 100 Elena St., Cranston, was charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver and one count of Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substances Act. He was arraigned on May 17 and released after posting surety bail.
John Pino, 22, of 58 Dorchester Ave., Providence, was charged with one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver and one count of Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substances Act. He was also arraigned on May 17 and released on personal recognizance.
The arrests took place in a parking lot at the Centre of New England, located off New London Tpke. at Rt. 95 in Coventry.
