Rescheduled - CCFD Hearing: The Central Coventry Fire District hearing scheduled by Superior Court Judge Brian Stern for 10 a.m. today has been rescheduled for Apr. 8 at 2 p.m. at Kent County Superior Court, 222 Quaker Ln., Warwick. This hearing will allow for existing motions to be heard in full as well as any objections regarding his decision on Friday to liquidate the district.

Plan Ahead - Pre-K and K Registration: Coventry Public Schools will hold this year's Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration this Saturday, Apr. 6 from 9 a.m. until noon at the School Administration Building (1675 Flat River Rd.). Children must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2013 to enter Kindergarten. Be sure to bring your child's birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency (recent utility bill, lease/home purchase agreement, etc.) To sign up for Kindergarten Screening, call Barbara Bridge at 822-9400 ext. 249.
